Now for a video game post.

Last night I was accepted into the Resistance 2 Public Beta, and having never played the first one except in demo form (it was eh), this is a really, really fun game. Almost fun enough to justify a purchase. It's fast paced multiplayer, almost similar to Unreal. Unfortunately, the ranking didn't work, at least not for me. Which sucks, I got like three badges, and a shitton of XP.

I'm also decent at it. Which is a plus.

Littlebigplanet, is going to be fucking AMAZING. Total custom stage control, and being able to bring three friends into it? HOLYYYY SHIIITT. Sign me up.

Heads pounding, I guess that means I need to sleep. More tomorrow, if I get to it.

Feels like I'm going to a hoedown...

Each time I listen to either Cassadaga or Conor Oberst (this is Bright Eyes related if you hadn't noticed at this point), his new stuff seems, I don't know, more country/folk orientated? Listen to "I Don't Wanna Die" from the Conor Oberst album, or "Four Winds" from Cassadaga. Both are really good songs, but they sound like I'm about to fucking square dance. And that's not a bad thing, I just wanted to point out how much of a different direction he seems to be going in lately. Listen to Lifed or Wide Awake, then listen to the two albums I mentioned earlier. DIFFERENT, HUH?

I'm not trying to point out how bad it is, in fact I LOVE it, I just noticed that a lot of things he's been doing is country/folk orientated.

To My Friends:

There are some of you who this post doesn't apply to (if that made sense). And there are some who will probably never read this. But, look, there are a few of you who over my high school career, I have done so much for you. Now each time I try to message you, or try to talk to you, you do not want anything to do with me. And it seems that now that high school is over with, and so is our friendship. If that's how you want it, great. Let me know. If not, quit ignoring me.

I understand that this post is rather, I don't know, personal? But I'm trying to call you guys out and trying to see what is up. Maybe this is a classic example of the line, "you'll really find out who your friends are after high school". Or maybe this was just me getting used (huh! imagine THAT...) by my so called, "friends".

So if you happen to read this (maybe I'll post this on MySpace...where it belongs), let me know. I'm not expecting to be your "BFF" or anything, just quit ignoring me and acting awkwardly in public if we see each other accidentally.

Then, there are some of you, who really want to talk to me, yet 80% of the time I try to talk to you via message on MySpace or text, you NEVER respond. What's the point in that?

But anyways. Let me know what's going on guys.

Chinese Democracy is STILL not out!

I posted a blog back in February I think, talking about this album having problems and may never see the light of day. WELL. The light of day MAY finally be here. November 21st is the supposed release date, and it's a BEST BUY exclusive. There's a tracklisting and everything! THIS MAY ACTUALLY HAPPEN!! THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST CD TO EVER EVER EVER COME OUT EVER RIGHT!?!?!

Wrong. Oh so wrong:

This sounds like some fucking nu-metal garbage crossed with Rob Zombie (I feel bad for that guy, that some washed up Cabbage Patch Man is making a mockery of his music). But on the other hand, this is fucking funny. All of those rednecks who swear by G'n'R are going to shit themselves after they hear this. The album that has been in the making for about ten or so years is going to be a fucking FLOP.

Oh Axel. Pooor poooor guy. Call it quits after this.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic "3 through 12+" announced.

So the worst kept secret in gaming history has FINALLY, after what, TWO years, been confirmed. A PC MMORPG set 300 years after the events of KOTOR 2, and having more story than all the Bioware games PUT TOGETHER. Me likey.

They're doing this type of graphical style, so it'll run better on shittier systems. So far, they're going to release it for PC only, but they're thinking about bringing it to the systems.

Regardless of whatever they do, this is my most hyped game, EVER. The original Knights of the Old Republic basically made me the rabid Star Wars buff that I am today. The second one was good, but not as good. So expect to see me online with this thing when it comes out (in like three years)!

Updating about every day now.

At least I'll try. Quick update for me.

-Attending Miami Jacobs Career College in Springboro for Information Systems.
-Not really doing anything musically. I had this big old top secret project I was working on, but I never have time or the motivation to do it.
-Sarah and I are still together.
-I work in the Produce department at Marsh now. Basically, I hate it.
-I'm poor. I pay 387.77 a month for school.

That's about it.

Update on Violent Fellatio/Topher's NIN Remixes

As of today, I'm planning on buying something to record guitar onto my computer when my tax refund comes back (260 FULL AMERICAN DOLLARS!). So things will become more...not-electric. I've been working on my voice, and I think I've got it down on how I want it. And the main problem with me making songs (lyrics) is putting together words that RHYME. Well, it's starting to look up. My good friend Alex said he would help me, and my teacher told me about a website calling Rhyming Dictionary or some obsurd shit like that. The stuff that you can just find on the internet these days is fucking insane! So keep tabs on the Violent Fellatio page and the GingerZap's Original Shit page for samples and updates.

Peace. Love. Death Metal.

Think for yourself.

"When HR 1955 becomes law, it will create a commission tasked with identifying extremist people, groups, and ideas. The commission will hold hearings around the country, taking testimony and compiling a list of dangerous people and beliefs."

"This bill is a boon for nasty people. That SOB who stole your girlfriend, that hussy who stole your boyfriend, the gun owner next door--just report them to Homeland Security as holders of extreme beliefs. Homeland Security needs suspects, so they are not going to check. Under the new regime, accusation is evidence. Moreover, "our" elected representatives will never admit that they voted for a bill and created an "Extremist Belief Commission" for which there is neither need nor constitutional basis."

Babble Babble.

Hello my friends. I finally have some free time before work, and I don't feel like playing any video games, or remixing NIN tracks. The whole Violent Fellatio project is well underway, and going slow, but smoothly. For those of you who don't it, VF consists of: Myself, Joshua Frantz, and Daniel (who's last name escapes me at the moment) a keyboard, a guitar, bass, a very ghetto drum set, a mixer program, and an electronic program. We have some very cool ideas floating around, as well as three samples of what are sound is going to sound like on our myspace.

Speaking of perfection, the Mars Volta just released their newest album: The Bedlam in Goliath. And the guys have done it again. This album is just as good as Amputechure, (which is my favorite). Open up your minds and check that shit out. I don't care how you do, steal it (which I don't condone!) buy it, download it, whatever. Just listen to it.

Did you guys hear the good news?

CHINESE DEMOCRACY IS DONE!!!!!

For those of you who've been under a rock for the past NINE years, it's the new "Gun's and Rose's" album! After many delays, conflicts, and just bullshit, IT IS COMPLETE. I shit you not.

Buuuttt. Since Axl spent so much money on the damn thing, it's not going to bring in any money. That's including the thousands of GnR fans. So because it won't make any money, record companies are not gonna want to put it out.

So what does that mean?

We may have to wait even longer to hear it! Ooooh Axl. Instead of firing your BEST FRIEND in the middle of a show, how about working to spend LESS money on touring and re-recording everything, and release the damn thing? I'm sure it's good. Just leak it already.

Speaking of incompetentance, anyone else excited as me to get that scumbag out of office? Yeah. Does anyone else think that the Big Tax Refund is just a ploy to make us overlook the fact that he pardoned himself of future war crimes? Hmph.

And it looks like Edwards and Guliani dropped out. I'm actually surprised Guliani didn't make it further than he did. All he would have to say is that he was mayor during 9/11 and people would vote for him. At least that's the way I see it.

My girlfriend made me watch the Notebook last night. As if I wasn't a man already, my manly level went even further down, involuntarily.

So theres this kid at my school. I won't name names, but he makes my day. He's in my second and fifth period class. He goes on and on and on, and on about something thats completely irrelevant to the class discussion. And usually, it takes him five minutes to say something that should take three minutes.

Okay, I realize he's kinda slow but people wonder why I don't like him. "How can you not like him?!" Well, he is, to put it simply, a dick. Am I the only one who realizes it? Yes, he is sometimes a dick to me for whatever reason, be just over all, does anyone else notice it?

This picture reminds me of this family that came through my line at work. Not to mention that their bitch mom made me double back two carts worth of shit, but her family was the Lower-Middle Class Hillbilly Cheaper by the Dozen family. Seriously, this truck was full of kids like that. I was helping them load this gigantic truck full of annoying kids, and their oldest son started asking if I was a Christian. That's an awkward question to ask me, because I'm not exactly Christian. So naturally, I said, "yes". Then he started talking to me about screamo music (Like Underoath and the Devil Wears Prada) and he asked me what I liked. I said, "Nine Inch Nails". And he asked if they were a Christian band.

Dear (future) Marsh Customers:

New rule, DO NOT ASK ME STUPID QUESTIONS OF MAKE ME DO STUPID SHIT WHEN YOU SEE ME THERE. I hate my job enough, and you, the customer, MAKE IT WORSE.

That's about it for me. Here's a parting gift. Thank me later.

Decemberunderground

OOooohhkay. At first, I liked the CD. But the more I listened to it, I just didn't like it.

So I relistened to it last night. And maybe it isn't as bad as I thought.

My tastes in music have changed a lot in the past couple of years, I've become more tolerable I guess.

This is a decent CD, but still, their older stuff is better. I know, I understand that a band shouldn't have the same sound their whole career. But still. There is something about the sound itself that just sounds...empty. The production values maybe? Like with Sing the Sorrow it was much tighter, this one seems kinda loose. I don't know.

And is Decemeberunderground a concept album? I remember hearing somethings that sounded connected with each other, but I can't remember exactly.

Yeah. Long AFI blab. I still think the Art of Drowning is the best CD by them. One of the best from anyone, actually.
